Don't forget that we have training every Wednesday evening in Rheinpark. We begin at 7pm sharp, although some of us are usually there a bit earlier.
Directions:
Take the U-Bahn (U78 or U79) to Victoriaplatz. Leave by the stairs at the front
end of the train, up to the left to street level, then walk towards the Rhine. There
you'll see a big grass area and you should spot us fairly easily!
If ye know anyone else who's interested in getting fit while having a bit of craic then drag them along too!
Monday Nights are Quiz Nights:
Quiz nights will be held every Monday night 6th of October, with part of the money raised going to the club coffers. Starts at 8pm...Eur10 per table and 4 people per team...lots of prizes, including a crate of cider and t-shirts, etc...great craic guaranteed!! Everyone welcome!
Race Night:
On Friday 24th of October, a race night will be held in O Reillys Irish pub. Takings from the event will go towards the club coffers.
For those of you who have never been to a race night before allow me to explain a little about it. There are generally 8 races shown on a big screen. These races will not have been seen before so that no-one knows the outcome. In the weeks leading up to the race night, the horses taking part will have been sold to people who then get to name the horse. If their horse wins, they get a share of the pot. Even if you don't own a horse you can still bet on the horses, much like you would at a real horse race. If you win, you get a share of the prize money which differs from race to race.
All in all great craic is guaranteed!! Everyone welcome!
